Most clothes are washed on 30° on a quick cycle
(as part of normal use and if there’s nothing you shouldn't do with the fabric.
LINEN
TIPS
+
+
To avoid having marks and false pleats, iron on the other side with a damp cloth between the iron and the fabric.
WOOL
TIPS
+
+
Use a gentle washing detergent and iron on a warm temperature with a damp cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid marks.
COTTON
TIPS
+
+
Avoid mixing colours that are too bright with neutral colours. If the fabric is dark, turn the fabric inside out so it doesn't lose colour.
VISCOSE
TIPS
or
+
Machine wash the garment at a low temperature as viscose tends to shrink. If that happens despite taking precautions, you can iron the item on a medium temperature to give it its initial shape. In general, we recommend that you iron a viscose piece once it is dry to give it its initial shape.
POLYESTER
TIPS
or
We recommend using a mesh washing bag like the Guppyfriend® SEE PRODUCT to wash Polyester items and collect microplastics fibres may shed during washing. Polyester dries really fast and doesn't usually need to be ironed. Otherwise iron on a very low temperature.
POLYAMIDE
TIPS
or
+
Be careful with Polyamide, do not iron it because the fabric can melt!
CASHMERE
TIPS
+
+
Wash your piece in a washing bag (or a pillowcase for example) and choose the "wool” programme. Avoid using softening products. Drying flat is recommended.
VELVET/CORDUROY
TIPS
+
+
Wash and iron the garment inside out. Avoid leaving the fabric in water once the wash has finished. Air drying is recommended.
LYOCELL
TIPS
+
+
Use a clothes steamer preferably. If you don't have one, you can use the steam of your iron by holding it just above without touching your piece or iron it inside out with an ironing cloth between it and the iron.
